Stroud Waste Management Centre

Stroud Waste Transfer Facility Drone Aerial.JPG

Stroud Waste Management Centre accepts most forms of waste not suitable for kerbside collection. JR Richards and Sons and their sub-contractors operate this waste facility.

Stroud is a waste Transfer Station for residents to dispose of their excess waste. Unlike the Landfill where waste is buried, the Transfer Station is a drop-off centre where all waste is separated. Please note: Trucks with general (non recyclable) or unsorted waste will not be accepted and will need to use Gloucester or Taree Landfill.

The Centre includes a transfer station for domestic waste, a Reviva - 'Tip Shop'

Stroud Waste Management Centre does not have weighbridge. Driveway attendants are bound by Council to charge the appropriate fee based on your waste type and vehicle description. All loads are treated as full loads in accordance with state & federal regulations.

This facility accepts these items free of charge:

  • Household recyclable materials
  • Problem waste like paint, batteries, electronic waste and scrap metal
  • E-waste such as computers, phones, cameras, TVs
  • Pre-loved items can be dropped at the Tip Shop such as furniture, tools, toys

This facility accepts these items (fees apply, see below for fees and charges guide):

  • Green waste
  • Bricks, tiles, concrete
  • Mattresses
