In accordance with the requirements of the Geographical Names Board of NSW, the Roads Act 1993 and Roads (General) Regulation 2008, Mid-Coast Council proposes:
That the newly constructed road constructed as part of the Cundletown Bypass be named Gindul Road. The name was chosen after extensive consultation with the local Aboriginal community, including the Taree-Purfleet Land Council.
