If you know someone who would like to improve reading, writing or spelling skills, or learn the English language, a free service offered by MidCoast Libraries may be the answer.

Operating very successfully for the last seven years, the Better Reading, Better Communities program offers free individual tutoring, with tutors available in Taree and Forster.

“A new round of tutors completed training at the end of 2019 and are ready to start working with clients now. This program is completely confidential and professional, and is individually tailored to meet the specific needs of participants,” said Council’s Manager of Libraries, Chris Jones.

All ages, backgrounds and skill levels are welcome, and you can find out more by calling Forster Library on 7955 7001.
