Phil has had a long career in music, firstly graduating from the NSW Conservatorium of Music and then as a composer, co-writing the John Farnham song Communication. His speciality area is jazz and he has appeared with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Domain and the Opera House.

He wholeheartedly supports a vast improvement in our road network to make our travel safer and more accessible. Phil believes that a simplification of the whole Development Application process will drive economic growth and help to deliver more affordable housing in our area.

Importantly, Phil is a passionate supporter of improvements to our local environment particularly around reduction in pollution. He is however opposed to the ‘human induced’ climate change movement that is causing massive destruction to our natural habitats and farmland, through the expanded use of expensive and unreliable wind and solar projects.

Phil supports smaller and less intrusive government which will ultimately lead to people being able to make better decisions about how they wish to live their life. Along with this, he is focused on reducing taxes so that people can make personal decisions about how they spend their money. Phil has received many calls from ratepayers who say they are not being listened to and is committed to improving council’s engagement with ratepayers in the decision-making process of local government.
