Coopernook Sewage Treatment Plant
Environment Protection Licence #12583
The Coopernook sewage treatment plant Environment Protection Licence (#12583) specifies concentration limits for specific water quality parameters from treated effluent prior to discharge. These limits are not to be exceeded throughout the licence period occurring annually from 16th of April. Biological oxygen demand (BOD), total suspended solids (TSS), faecal coliforms (FC), pH, oil and grease are monitored during discharge events as a requirement of the licence.
