All MidCoast Council customer service points, offices, libraries, depots, visitor information centres and facilities will be closed on Friday 18 October for the annual Union Picnic Day. Our landfills, waste services and kerbside waste collection will operate as usual.
Forster Main Beach is 563 metres from Forster Breakwall to Forster Ocean Baths and is the home to the Forster Surf Life Saving Club.
This beach is patrolled during the swimming season (October to April) by both professional life guards (during school holidays) and by volunteer surf life savers on weekends and public holidays.
There are also public toilets and change rooms.
Public car parking is available behind the surf club as well as along the promenade adjacent to the beach.
