Diamond Beach

Diamond-Beach.jpeg

Diamond Beach is also known as Back Saltwater, or just Back Beach by the locals, and runs for 5.5 km to the south-southwest curving round to trend due south at the southern end.

The beach can be accessed from the Saltwater National Park in the north and from the Diamond Beach village in the south.

There are no lifeguards at this beach.

Diamond Beach headland offers views north to Point Perpendicular and south to Crowdy Head.

It is called Diamond Head because there is lots of shiny quartz in the area, no diamonds.

With a name containing the word ‘diamond’ why wouldn’t you want to have your wedding ceremony here?
