Bulahdelah Cemetery
Bulahdelah Cemetery was dedicated on 6 December 1867.
The Cemetery occupies an area of 3.22 Ha of gently undulating land, with some native tree cover.
The following memorial types are available at this Cemetery:
- Columbarium Wall
- Lawn Burials
- Monumental Burials
Columbarium:
The Columbarium Wall Memorial is for the placement of ashes into a wall setting.
Ashes are interred into the niche receptacle and a memorial plaque is placed securely over the niche. Plaques are available in a range of materials, contact our team for a quote.
Memorial plaques can also be placed, in instances where the ashes have been interred or scattered elsewhere.
Lawn Cemetery:
The Lawn Cemetery section caters for burials, with a choice of a range of plaques that can be ordered in bronze or granite, rather than the larger traditional style monuments that are often used in the General Cemetery.
Single depth burials only are permitted in Great Lakes Council cemeteries. Ashes are permitted to be interred into lawn burial sites.
We can provide a quote for a memorial plaque for burial, available in either bronze or granite.
General (Monumental):
The General Section of the Cemetery caters for burials with traditional style monuments. Single depth burials only are permitted in Great Lakes Council cemeteries and ashes are permitted to be interred into burial plots.
There are several denominational areas available for burials:
- Anglican
- Baptist
- Catholic
- Latter Day Saints
- Presbyterian
- Uniting
Monuments are arranged for by the applicant and are not included in Council's services. Contact should be made with a Monumental Stonemason.
