All MidCoast Council customer service points, offices, libraries, depots, visitor information centres and facilities will be closed on Friday 18 October for the annual Union Picnic Day. Our landfills, waste services and kerbside waste collection will operate as usual.
Anzac Park sits on the south end of the Tea Gardens foreshore. The park houses the Tea Gardens War Memorial and a Howitzer Gun which was introduced to the Australian Army during the Vietnam War. There are also picnic shelters and a BBQ located in this park as well as the Tea Gardens Slipway.
Located on the Myall River, the park has picnic shelters, electric BBQ, drinking water and power.
The space is used for community events, markets, carnivals and private functions such as wedding ceremonies and family get-togethers.
