Pacific Palms Community Centre

Pacific Palms Community Centre Exterior

Pacific Palms Community Centre was officially opened on 7 August 1977 - the result of eight years of planning and hard work on behalf of the local community.

The Centre has grown into a popular multipurpose facility that incorporates a community hall space, large stage area, sizeable kitchen, attached community library and spacious covered deck area over looking a children's playground area with climbing frame and sandpit and across to the Pacific Palms Tennis Courts.

As the major focus for many, varied community and social activities (including the very popular Pacific Palms Markets)  it is an ideal facility and location for the whole Pacific Palms communities use, as well as for private functions.  There is also an outdoor War Memorial located in the garden at the front of the centre.

The centre has recently benefited from funding provided through the FAHSCIA "Accessible Communities Initiative" which enabled some much needed additional accessible works to be undertaken.  These works included the construction of a dedicated unisex accessible toilet with baby change station, accessible picnic table, parking and pathways, plus the addition of tactile markers and braille signage at the centre.
