Coolongolook and District Memorial Hall

Coolongolook hall

Coolongolook & District Memorial Hall was first established in the early 1900s.  Then in the early 1950s, after a period of intense community fundraising and extensive rebuilding and repairs, it was re-established as ' A memorial to those who paid the supreme sacrifice' and the returned WW1 servicemen of the area.  The hall rebuilding works were in fact, undertaken by a former 'Tobruk Rat'  veteran, Jack Arnold.

The Coolongolook Hall has always been a centre of community activity in the area and remains so today.  It is also the safe repository of the community's treasured War Memorial Honour Boards.

Hall Capacity - 270 people.
