MidCoast Council is seeking community feedback on the Forster Main Beach Masterplan, with the final Draft Plan on exhibition until Wednesday 7 November.

The Draft Masterplan has been developed over 12 months of extensive community engagement, including on-site events at Main Beach drawing over 750 people, and numerous workshops with special interest groups and local businesses.

"We thank everyone who has contributed to developing the Draft Plan, the response from community been significant and many positive and constructive suggestions were received throughout the development of the Plan," said Council's Director of Corporate and Business Systems, Steve Embry.

"The response indicates just how important the Main Beach precinct is for the community, and we thank all those who provided input during engagement sessions.   Based on the feedback received from the community and other relevant stakeholders, we believe that we have 'got it right' in deciding the core elements for inclusion in the Masterplan."

At a recent meeting, Council endorsed the final draft document. It is now available online, or in hard copy format at Council's Forster office, for any final community feedback until Wednesday 7 November.
