NAIDOC Week Funding Application
Funding of up to $4,000 is available for whole-of-community events which are planned and run by a NAIDOC Planning Committee.
Applications open Monday 3 February and close on Sunday 2 March 2025.
In order to apply, organisations and events must meet the following criteria:

The applicant must be an Aboriginal incorporated, not-for-profit organisation

The event must be targeted at and include the broader community

The event must be run within the MidCoast Council Local Government Area boundary

The event must be planned and organised by a NAIDOC Planning Committee

The Planning Committee must meet with Council two months prior to the event to review approvals required. If a road closure is required, the committee must meet with Council three months prior to the event.

The applicant must be able to provide a Certificate of Currency for public liability insurance

The application must include a comprehensive and realistic budget that includes the costs of all Council services (waste management, application fees, etc)
