Funding opportunities

Our support for artists and creatives on the MidCoast is an important part of strengthening our community.

Along with our commitments through our Cultural Plan (we support local artists to explore funding opportunities that exist through both State and Federal programs.

MidCoast Arts Support Program

Letters of support

If you wish to request a letter from us to support your funding application we need to have this request at least two weeks before the closing date.

We only provide support letters to MidCoast based professional artists and to organisations based in the MidCoast who are undertaking arts and cultural projects with paid local artists.

In requesting a letter of support please provide the following:

  • Details of the project and the grant that is being applied for
  • Evidence of your track record as a professional practicing artists
  • Budgets that meet the minimum rates of pay for artists (See the National Association for Visual Arts website for more details).
